A heavy rain alert has been issued for districts such as Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, Bijnor, and Baghpat. IMD has also warned of lightning strikes in isolated places.

Most parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh are expected to remain dry, though Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Lucknow, Barabanki, and Gonda may experience light rainfall at isolated places. There is no weather alert issued for most eastern districts.
