Firozabad Funeral Procession Participants Flee Abandoning Body In Field. The Reason Will Shock You
Over 30 people were injured in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, in an attack by bees while attending a funeral.

Firozabad News: A strange incident has come to light from Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh. Participants in a funeral procession suddenly dropped the corpse and ran for their lives. Reason? A bee attack!
More Than 30 Injured In Bee Attack
According to the police, the incident occurred in the Nagla Harischandra village under the Tundla police station's jurisdiction. The 70-year-old mother of Mukesh Yadav, a resident of the village, passed away on Sunday night. Around 9:30 AM on Monday, their relatives and neighbours went to a field to cremate the body.
They dug up a spot to perform the last rites under a peepal tree on the field. However, they failed to notice a beehive on the tree.
As the prepared for the last rites, the hive was apparently disturbed. An angry swarm of bees from the hive on the peepal tree attacked the people standing below.
Chaos descended as the people panicked at the sudden attack and they ran away, leaving the elderly woman's body behind. Seeing the people who had gone for the last rites running and screaming, the villagers were shocked.
The victims of the attack returned with swollen lips, cheeks, nose, eyelids, hands, and feet. Many were screaming in pain. More than 30 people were injured in the bee attack.
The police sent the injured to the district hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
Last Rites Performed 8 Hours Later
The locals admitted all the injured to the district hospital for treatment. One of the injured, Olli Singh, was reported to be in critical condition and was referred to Agra. The inspector in-charge of Tundla police station, Anjesh Kumar, said that after admitting the injured to the hospital, the last rites of the elderly woman were performed at another spot on the field after a delay of nearly eight hours.
