His comment followed growing anticipation regarding the appointment of a Deputy Chief Minister, a position that has not been created during his tenure thus far.

Addressing another key issue, CM Stalin commented on the report provided by Industries Minister T.R.B. Raja on the investments secured during his recent trip to the United States. The Chief Minister’s visit to Kolathur, his home constituency, underscored his focus on local development, with Stalin remarking, "I will come here at the right time."

He also emphasised that his government is prepared to tackle challenges the monsoon.

Earlier, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, dismissed rumors about his possible elevation as Deputy Chief Minister, calling them baseless. He had told the media to ask the CM since the decision was with him.

However, speculation has been rife ever since CM Stalin hinted at the possibile of promotion ahead his recent trip to the US.
