Chaos unfolded at a mall in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi after an unwelcomed customer visited a store terrifying the people inside. In a video of the incident which has gone viral on social media, the monkey was seen running amok inside a store at the City Car Mall while some staff members tried to catch hold of the animal. 

Suddenly the monkey jumps onto a woman who crouches in fear and screams for help. Some tried to lure the monkey by bringing a banana while others advised the woman to stand up but nothing helped. 

The monkey then hopped onto a cloth rack only to jump back at the woman again. It repeatedly attacked the woman while others attempted to take it away.

The monkey was seen pulling the woman's hair and trying to bite her when it was separated. It also snatched the woman's show and nibbled on it. 

The terrified woman was heard screaming, "It bit me!" begging the people around her to get rid of the ape. 

Efforts to contain the monkey continued as people tried throwing a blanket over it but it escaped the trap every time. A second round of chase followed shortly as the monkey ran across the store, at times sitting on the clothes stand, making his way through the different product sections.
