Man Hangs Himself To Death At Mumbai Hotel, Blames Wife And Her Aunt In Suicide Note
A 41-year-old man, Nishant Tripathi, died by suicide in a Mumbai hotel room and blamed his wife and her aunt for his death.

A 41-year-old man died by suicide in a Mumbai hotel room and blamed his wife and her aunt for his death. Nishant Tripathi hanged himself to death last Friday at his hotel room in Sahara Hotel.
In a suicide note, which he luploaded on his company's website, he expressed his love for his wife, but held her and her aunt responsible for his decision. Mumbai police have registered a case against the two women.
According to an NDTV report, Tripathi checked into the hotel three days before the incident, and had put up a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on his room's door before taking the drastic step. When the hotel staff saw there was no response from his room for a long time, they entered in using a master key, only to find him dead. The cops werethen alerted by the hotel staff.
Although no arrests have been made yet, the cops said a case has been registered against one Apoorva Parikh and her aunt Prarthana Mishra for abetment to suicide. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint by the victim's mother and women's rights activist Neelam Chaturvedi, the report said.
What The Suicide Note Said
The suicide note was password-protected and was uploaded by Tripathi on his company's website. In the note, he expressed love for his wife, but held her and her aunt responsible for his decision.
"By the time you read this, I'll be gone. In my last moments, I could've hated you for everything that happened. But I don't. For this moment, I choose love. I loved you then. I love you now. And as I had promised, it's not going to fade," rhis suicide note read, as reported by NDTV.
"My mother knows among all the other struggles I faced, you and Prarthana Mausi are also responsible for my death. So I beg you don't approach her now. She's broken enough. Let her grieve in peace," it added.

Victim's Mother Mourns Son's Death
In a post on Facebook, Chaturvedi grieved her son's death and prayed for courage for her daughter and herself to cope with their loss.
"My life is over now. My son, Nishant left me. I have now become a living corpse. He had to perform my last rites but today on 2nd March, I have cremated my son at "ECO-MOKSHA" Mumbai. My daughter Prachi performed the last rites of her elder brother. Give me and my daughter Prachi courage so that I can bear such a big thunderbolt," she said in her post.
"Today I feel like a living corpse," she said, mentioning how she devoted her life to women's rights and gender equality.
