Experts Emphasise Safety Measures To Avert Disastrous Outcomes On Amusement Rides
According to IANS, Safety experts emphasise the importance of adhering to strict safety protocols on amusement rides. “Fair rides can offer an exhilarating experience, but prioritising safety is essential,” they caution. Experts advise riders to remain seated until a ride has come to a complete stop and to ensure that all safety restraints, including seat belts and harnesses, are properly secured before the ride begins. "These restraints are specifically designed to keep people secure," they add, underscoring that they are designed to protect people from falls during sudden movements, sharp turns, and high speeds.
Furthermore, experts urge visitors to avoid loosening safety restraints or standing while a ride is in motion. Additionally, securing loose items like hair, hats, sunglasses, dupattas, sarees, and jewellery is crucial, as these can get entangled or be lost due to sudden movements, also posing potentially disastrous outcomes.
