Jaipur: Two Men Climb Mobile Tower Demanding CBI Probe In Girl's Rape-Murder Case

Additional DCP (south) Lalit Kumar Sharma said that both the men are demanding a CBI investigation into the Dimple Meena rape-murder case.

Two men from the Meena community have climbed a mobile tower in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, demanding a CBI investigation into the rape and murder of a girl from their community. Authorities are working to ensure the men are brought down safely.

In response, the Additional DCP (south), Lalit Kumar Sharma, told news agency ANI, "Two men have climbed up the tower. We have also come to know that they have some demands for the Dimple Meena murder case. Communication with them is underway and efforts are underway to bring them down."

Man Climbs High-Voltage Electric Pole In Noida

In a separate incident, a man climbed an electric tower in Noida on Sunday afternoon (November 10). The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., prompting police, fire service, and power department officials to engage in rescue efforts. 

A video circulating widely on social media shows a man standing and dancing atop an electric pole. His identity remains unknown. A large crowd gathered near the pole, located by the metro station under the jurisdiction of Sector 113 Police Station, attempting to convince him to come down.

After about two hours, with assistance from police and fire department officials, the man finally descended. Police reported that he appeared to be mentally disturbed.
