On February 11, Delhi saw the hottest day of the season after the maximum temperature touched 29.7 degrees Celsius.

The weather department has predicted misty conditions for Sunday, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 11 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels varied between 84 per cent and 45 per cent throughout the day.

CPCB Records 'Moderate' Air Quality In Delhi

As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality was classified as "moderate," with an AQI of 183 recorded at 7 PM.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) scale categorises air quality as follows: 0-50 ("good"), 51-100 ("satisfactory"), 101-200 ("moderate"), 201-300 ("poor"), 301-400 ("very poor"), and 401-500 ("severe").

According to a report by HT, Delhi will experience a minimum and maximum temperature of 17.59 °C and 29.22 °C, respectively on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Tomorrow humidity levels are likely to be at 19%.

Over the past couple of weeks, the weather in Delhi has seen several flip-flops. After light rain in some areas of Delhi-NCR on February 3, the morning and late-night chill had returned.

Last week, on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded the maximum temperature in the national capital at 23.6 degrees Celsius, 0.3 degrees above the average for this season. The minimum temperature was 8.2 degrees Celsius, which was 1.2 degrees Celsius below the average and the humidity was 36% at 5.30 PM.

Previously IMD confirmed that the Western Disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from February 8. As a result, winter in North India seems to be abating as the minimum temperature is gradually increasing in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. However, the flip-flop in the weather that we saw over the last two weeks is likely to continue due to the effect of a fresh Western Disturbance.
