Bengaluru Student Dies By Suicide After Mother Scolds Her For Using Phone Before Class 10 Exams
The police were notified about the incident around 11.30 am. Following this an unnatural death case was filed and the body was sent for postmortem.

A Bengaluru girl died by suicide on Wednesday after her mother scolded her for spending extra time on the mobile phone rather than preparing adequately for her Class 10 exams, police said.
The 15-year-old deceased identified as Avantika Chaurasia, was a resident of Assetz Marq on Whitefield-Hoskote Road and was studying at Delhi Public School in Whitefield.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Whitefield), Shivakumar Gunare, told Indian Express, “We are investigating further to ascertain other reasons, if any.”
Reacting to the incident, the Kadugodi police filed an unnatural death case and sent the body for postmortem. The police were notified about the incident around 11.30 am. Following the investigations, it was revealed that the girl’s board exams were scheduled to begin on February 15.
