Audi Owner Body Slams Ola Cab Driver For Bumping Into His Car: VIDEO
Mumbai road rage: A luxury car owner attacked an Ola cab driver after a minor car accident. The CCTV footage captured the incident, leading to charges against the owner, Rishabh Chakravorty.
Mumbai News: The owner of a luxury car (Audi Q3) in Mumbai body-slammed a cab driver for grazing his car with the taxi. The incident, recorded on CCTV camera, took place in the Ghatkopar area of Mumbai on August 18. An FIR has been registered by the Mumbai police after the video of the incident went viral.
The Ola cab driver was identified as Qaymuddin Mainuddin Qureshi (24) while the Audi Q3 driver-cum-owner was identified as journalist Rishabh Chakravorty. News agency ANI quoted senior police officer of the Parksite Police Station Santosh Ghatekar as saying: "Rishabh Chakravorty dashed the cab with his car near Asalpha village in Ghatkopar, after which the cab driver stopped him and asked to compensate for the damage caused to his vehicle."
Qureshi was going towards Ulwe in Navi Mumbai with a passenger when Chakravorty's car allegedly hit his car from behind. Due to this Qureshi confronted him.

However, Chakravorty allegedly drove away without paying any attention. Chakraborty was with his wife Antara Ghosh at the time. "After this, the cab driver followed Chakravorty to his residence on LBS Marg in Ghatkopar and when Chakravorty stopped his car, the cab driver bumped into his car from behind," Ghatekar said.
Enraged at this, accused Chakravorty slapped the cab driver. He then lifted Qureshi up and slammed him to the ground. Qureshi sustained head injuries in the assault and had to remain hospitalised for at least nine days. He was first taken to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar and then admitted to JJ Hospital.
Police said Ansari's statement has been recorded and the footage from the CCTV camera installed at the entry gate of the building is being examined. The official said that based on Ansari's complaint, a case was registered against Rishabh Chakravorty and Antara Ghosh. They have been issued a notice to appear in court. The claims and counter-claims of both the parties are being investigated.
