Agarwal also shared details about the performance of the company domestically in different cities on New Year's Eve. His post read, "Shirdi sees 940% rise in bookings this NY. Ajmer comes close second, sees 761% surge in bookings vs last NY. Banaras (Varanasi) becomes the most popular spiritual travel destination with 12,841 bookings this NY with Ayodhya being the new entrant to top charts this year. Based on the strong booking trends, we expect Ayodhya to top the charts in Jan in the run up to the Pran Pratishtha anniversary."

The updates went viral on social media and many users appreciated the journey of OYO. An individual commented, “If/when Ola's stock price reaches 55-60, I'll buy. This will purely be a bet on the founder. He's been building since 2010 when startups were non-existent and the VC ecosystem was tiny. His speed in launching Ola Electric was unmatched. Built a large ass factory during the pandemic.”
