Fill ITR With Easy Steps
- Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the Income Tax Department https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login
- Then enter your login ID there and fill in the password. If you have forgotten your password, you can create a new password using the option of forgot password.
- Select the e-file option on the page that opens after logging in and select the income tax filing option there.
- After this, select the fiscal year. Then you'll see two options, from which you can choose the online option, and select the ‘personal’ option.

After following the previous steps, you will see two options: ITR-1 and ITR-4. From these options, the people who get a salary have to select ITR-1. A form will open on the system, choose the 139(1) real returns from these form filling types.
It will open another form which needs to be filled with information like bank account and other details. One can also choose the offline option in the form, then the attached file option will appear after the form is downloaded. After filling the form, select the online verification option which completes the form filling process.
