'One Constitution For All Religions': Baba Ramdev Says New Law On Waqf Will Strengthen News

Baba Ramdev supports the Waqf amendment bill, stating that a uniform law strengthens all religions' systems in India, regardless of Hindu or Muslim.

Baba Ramdev News: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has issued a major statement regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. Speaking at a at a programme organised in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, Baba Ramdev said in India, there is one constitution for Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, and Buddhists alike, meaning there is a system of one law for all.

The new law on Waqf will strengthen this system. On the occasion of Ram Navami, Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust), Kripalu Bagh Ashram, and Divya Yoga Mandir Rammulkh Darbar merged. Divya Yoga Mandir Ram Mulkh Darbar has merged with Patanjali Yogpeeth. Baba Ramdev said this while answering a question from journalists during the same programme.

Answering a question on the Waqf law, Swami Ramdev said, "In the whole of India, there is one constitution for Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists alike. The enactment of the Waqf law will strengthen this system. If the Waqf law is not enacted, people from different communities across the country will continue to demand the creation of separate boards."

He said that some political parties are opposing the Waqf law for vote-bank politics. Swami Ramdev also supported the renaming of villages by the Uttarakhand government.

Muslims Know Ram Is Their Ancestor: Baba Ramdev

Regarding the lifting of the ban on Ram Navami processions in West Bengal, Swami Ramdev said, "Such restrictions are imposed out of political motivation for the polarisation of vote banks. There should be no restrictions on religious festivals like Ram Navami, Janmashtami and Eid. India is the land of Sanatan, the land of Ram, Krishna, Hanuman, Shiva. There is respect for everyone here. Let no one hate anyone. Hindutva does not hate anyone. Muslims should also follow their faith and religion, but they also know that Ram is their ancestor."

Regarding the merger, Swami Ramdev said that thirty years ago we took sannyas and named our institution Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust). Later we came to know that Yogeshwar Swami Ram Lal Ji's institution Divya Yoga Mandir Rammulkh Darbar already exists. It is a wonderful coincidence that both institutions have merged today. To keep the tradition of yoga intact, Yogacharya Swami Lal Maharaj has offered this oblation to Patanjali Yogpeeth on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.

No One Can Do Work Done By Ramdev On Yoga: Swami Lal Maharaj

In the programme, Acharya Balkrishna, General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, extended Ram Navami greetings to all countrymen and said that Lord Ram should be awakened in our lives, energy, service work and emotions so that we can work together with mutual harmony for nation-building and creation.

Meanwhile, Yogacharya Swami Lal Maharaj said that the work that Swami Ramdev Maharaj has done to establish yoga in every household, neither has anyone done it before, nor will anyone be able to do it in the future.
