Ola Chief Takes A Leaf Out Of Musk's DOGE Playbook Says Report, Here's What He Ordered
Recently, Elon Musk made it compulsory for US federal employees to send it reports explaining their recent achievements at work or face the possibility of losing their jobs.

Following on the footsteps of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Ola head Bhavish Aggarwal made it mandatory for employees to submit weekly reports outlining their accomplishments. The move follows Musk making it compulsory for US federal employees to send it reports explaining their recent achievements at work or face the possibility of losing their jobs.
Issuing an internal email, Aggarwal last week announced the measure, titled ‘Kya Chal Rha Hai?’, reported CNBC TV18. The Hindi phase translates to ‘what’s going on?’. As part of the policy, employees will need to send a weekly email detailing three to five key tasks they accomplished at work.
The CEO informed that these reports need to be submitted to the employee’s manager and a designated company email, without exceptions. The first deadline to send the email was decided for the end of day following the announcement and going ahead, employees will need to send these reports every Sunday, the report said.

The email said, “We're starting 'Kya Chal Raha Hai?' — a simple way to share your weekly updates directly with me and your managers, starting today. Please send a brief update to your manager and Kyachalrahahai@olagroup.in (email will be active in an hour or so) with 3-5 bullet points about what you got done last week. Keep it simple and to the point. Use the email subject: 'Weekly updates'. The deadline for this is today end of day. Going forward, we will expect the email before Sunday end of day. Everyone has to send this, no exceptions,” the media organisation reported.
Ola Layoffs
The recent move comes amid reports claiming that Ola Electric Mobility plans to let go of around 1,000 employees, or 25 per cent of the overall workforce. The restructuring is reportedly focused on cutting losses.
This also isn't the first time that Aggarwal has implemented strict policies in his company. Last year in December, the CEO wrote an email to employees about poor attendance, putting in place stringent attendance policies.
