Stock Market Holiday For Holi 2025: Stock market investors should note the upcoming holiday this week. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Friday, March 14, 2025, in observance of Holi, meaning no trading activities will take place on that day.

Trading in other segments, including equity derivatives and securities lending and borrowing (SLB), will also remain halted for the day. Additionally, there will be no trading in the currency derivatives and electronic gold receipts (EGR) segments.

Holi, known as the ‘festival of colours,’ is a Hindu celebration that signifies the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and the beginning of a new season.
