Ghazal Alagh, co-founder of Mamaearth, recently shared her approach to finding joy in simple living by implementing a "No Digital Distraction Rule" on Sundays. Alagh abstains from using her phone for five hours and instead focuses on spending time with family and reading.
On Saturday, Alagh took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the benefits of disconnecting from digital devices. She believes this practice enhances personal connections and allows individuals to find joy in the simplicity of everyday life.
"Every Sunday, I follow a 'No Digital Distraction Rule' and avoid using my phone for five hours," Alagh wrote on X. "During this time, I engage in simple living activities such as spending time with family, taking the kids to the park, reading, and just being present. Disconnecting helps you reconnect with yourself and appreciate the joys of simple living, which can often be overlooked in today's fast-paced world."
