Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Dips Below $17,000 As Crypto Meltdown Continues

Cryptocurrency price on November 12 quick take: The global crypto market cap stood at $852.17 billion on Saturday morning.

Bitcoin (BTC) — the oldest and most valued cryptocurrency in the world — continued to see a plunge in prices and dipped below the $17,000 mark on Saturday morning. Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, saw a minor gain of 1.70 percent and managed to remain within the $1,200 range. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC) —landed in the reds across the board. The GMX token emerged to be the top gainer, with a 24-hour jump of 14.16 per cent. 

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $852.17 billion, registering a 24-hour gain of 0.27 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin price stood at $16,881.37, seeing a 24-hour loss of 0.92 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 15.15 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

ETH price stood at $1,259.16, marking a 24-hour jump of 1.70 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.13 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today

DOGE registered a 24-hour loss of 2.60 percent as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.08233. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 7.55.

Litecoin (LTC) price today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour dip of 0.05 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $60.17. LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,222.16.

Ripple (XRP) price today

XRP price stood at $0.375, seeing a 24-hour loss of 1.05 percent. As per WazirX, Ripple price stood at Rs 32.60.

Solana (SOL) price today

Solana price stood at $15.80, marking a 24-hour dip of 3.35 percent. As per WazirX, SOL price in India stood at Rs 1,454.
