Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Remains Above $30,000 Mark As Compound Becomes Top Gainer

Cryptocurrency price on July 16, a quick take: The global crypto market cap stood at $1.21 trillion on Sunday morning.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) — two of the most valued crypto coins — managed to rise above the $30,000 and $19,000 marks, respectively, on early Sunday morning. However, in terms of percentage-wise performance, BTC saw a loss of 0.51 percent. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP) — landed in the negative as overall prices saw minor losses across the board. Compound (COMP) emerged to be the biggest gainer, seeing a 24-hour jump of over 19.54 per cent. Lido DAO (LDO), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest loser. 

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.21 trillion, registering a 24-hour loss of 0.40 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin price stood at $30,176.06 seeing a 24-hour loss of 0.51 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 25 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

ETH price stood at $1,924.89, marking a 24-hour loss of 0.43 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.63 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today

DOGE registered a 24-hour gain of 3.14 percent as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.0708. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 6.0800.

Litecoin (LTC) price today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour loss of 0.30 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $94.67. LTC price in India stood at Rs 8,119.65.

Ripple (XRP) price today

XRP price stood at $0.711, seeing a 24-hour loss of 2.35 percent. As per WazirX, Ripple price stood at Rs 61.5000.

Solana (SOL) price today

Solana price stood at $27.23, marking a 24-hour loss of 0.57 percent. As per WazirX, SOL price in India stood at Rs 2,300.02.
