Cryptocurrency Price Today: Bitcoin Remains Above $29,000 Mark As Curve DAO Token Becomes Top Gainer
Cryptocurrency price on August 2, a quick take: The global crypto market cap stood at $1.19 trillion on Wednesday morning
Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) — two of the most valued crypto coins — managed to rise above the $29,000 and $18,000 marks, respectively, on early Wednesday morning. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE)— landed in the positive as overall prices saw minor gains across the board. Curve DAO Token (CRV) emerged to be the biggest gainer, seeing a 24-hour jump of over 15.58 percent. Quant (QNT), on the other hand, turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.19 trillion, registering a 24-hour gain of 2.03 percent.

Bitcoin price stood at $29,634.79 seeing a 24-hour gain of 2.73 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 25 lakhs.
Ethereum (ETH) price today
ETH price stood at $1,863.12, marking a 24-hour gain of 2.17 percent at the time of writing. As per WazirX, Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.60 lakhs.
Dogecoin (DOGE) price today
DOGE registered a 24-hour gain of 1.83 percent as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.07747. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 6.6874.
Litecoin (LTC) price today
Litecoin saw a 24-hour gain of 2.98 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $92.53. LTC price in India stood at Rs 8,100.45.
