Cryptocurrency Price Today (October 2): Bitcoin Dips Below $62,000 As Top Coins See Bloodbath

Cryptocurrency price on October 2 quick take: The global market cap dipped to $2.17 trillion.

Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, dipped below the $62,000 mark early Wednesday. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC) — landed in the greens across the board as the overall Market Fear & Greed Index stood at 39 (Fear) out of 100, as per CoinMarketCap data. The Wormhole (W) token became the biggest gainer with a 24-hour jump of over 21 percent. Arweave (AR) became the top loser, with a 24-hour loss of over 14 percent. 

The global crypto market cap stood at $2.17 trillion at the time of writing, registering a 24-hour dip of 4.15 percent.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price Today

Bitcoin price stood at $61,691.21, registering a 24-hour dip of 3.72 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchanges, BTC price stood at Rs 54.06 lakh.

Ethereum (ETH) Price Today

ETH price stood at $2,482.96, marking a 24-hour loss of 6.28 percent at the time of writing. Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 2.21 lakh.

Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today

DOGE registered a 24-hour dip of 8.06 percent, as per CoinMarketCap data, currently priced at $0.1091. Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 10.30.

Litecoin (LTC) Price Today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour loss of 5.45 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $64.48. LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,725.42.

Ripple (XRP) Price Today

XRP price stood at $0.599, seeing a 24-hour dip of 3.76 percent. Ripple price in India stood at Rs 54.14.

Solana (SOL) Price Today

Solana price stood at $148.08, marking a 24-hour loss of 5.48 percent. SOL price in India stood at Rs 12,236.74.
