Amit Doshi named Chief Marketing Officer-Lenovo India

New Delhi [India], June 6 (ANI): Global technology firm Lenovo on Wednesday announced the appointment of Amit Doshi as the Chief Marketing Officer of its India business.

Amit will replace Bhaskar Choudhuri as the CMO, after the latter's appointment as the marketing head for Lenovo Asia Pacific.

The newly-appointed CMO will be responsible for strengthening the Lenovo brand in India and South Asia to enable profitable growth across all business segments - consumer, enterprise and SMB. He will focus on deepening digital and data competencies towards building a more customer-centric organisation.

"Amit and his team have helped significantly grow Lenovo's unaided PC brand consideration and awareness in the Consumer PC business. We have also been able to establish Lenovo as a strong PC+ player with the Lenovo tablet brand, which has enabled our current position in the Tablet market as a top player," said Rahul Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO, Lenovo India.

Prior to joining Lenovo, Doshi has worked in the FMCG industry for 10 years, his last stint being at Britannia Industries.

In his new role, Amit will report to Bhaskar Choudhuri. (ANI)
