We have seen the electric Mini on sale in India but now the new generation electric Mini Countryman is coming to India on the 24th of July. This is the new generation version which is longer and more spacious and looks more muscular than the previous gen model while still maintaining the Mini look.

If we talk about the dimensions it has a length of 4,433 mm, width of 1,843 mm and height of 1,656 mm. The wheelbase has also been increased to 2,692 mm.

The third gen Countryman is the biggest Mini but has some interesting design details like the C-pillar to the curved roof but it has clearly grown in size.

The interior meanwhile has no driver display which is different but it does get an optional heads-up display while all of the information is on the touchscreen.

The centre OLED display is all new with the latest infotainment system while it also displays a full screen speedo when driving but it could be difficult to get used to.

Additionally, there is a panoramic sunroof, massage function for the front seats and the rear seats are adjustable too while there are ADAS features as well.

Recycled materials and textiles are also used for the interior design which is different from the usual leather.

We will most likely get the top-end dual motor all-wheel drive version which gets twin motors and a large 66.45 kWh battery pack with a range of 433km. There is a single motor which packs in more range but less power of course.

The current Mini Countryman is just below Rs 50 lakh but this all new generation in electric form could be near Rs 60 lakh which is still cheaper than the iX1.
