Hyundai Tucson Facelift Revealed. Check India Launch Details
In India, the Tucson has been on sale since last year, competing among other premium SUVs.
Hyundai has taken the covers off its Tucson model for the year 2024 with design tweaks to update this premium SUV. While the Tucson is relatively new to our market, the refreshed India-spec model is expected to arrive next year.
This update focuses on design tweaks primarily at the front, along with enhancements to the interior. The parametric grille at the front has been refined, and the bumper now boasts a more muscular appearance, complemented by a thicker skid plate. Additionally, the bumper showcases a distinctly angular look with more pronounced edges. Updates can also be seen on the sides, including a new alloy wheel design and thicker cladding.
Internally, significant changes are evident with the introduction of a curved twin-screen display, akin to larger global Hyundai SUVs. The steering wheel features a new Genesis-like design, accompanied by a redesigned centre console layout featuring updated button designs. While haptic controls are introduced, physical controls for climate control remain. Furthermore, the full-width aircon vents have been revamped, resulting in an overall more premium and user-friendly cabin.

We do not expect any powertrain changes, therefore, the 2.0L petrol and diesel engines will continue in the new Tucson. Notably, the 2.0L petrol engine remains exclusive to the Tucson. This is also the only car where the 2.0l petrol will do duty with the Alcazar now getting a 1.5l turbo petrol which is also seen on the Verna. The new Tucson with these small updates stays up to date with the latest Hyundai design trends.
