- Choose the Right Spot: The northeast direction (Ishaan corner) of your home is ideal for placing the idol. Purify this area with Ganga water.
- Set Up the Idol: Place the idol on a raised platform, such as a wooden chowki or table, which should also be clean.
- Decorate: Cover the platform with a yellow cloth. You can also decorate the area around the idol with items like Swastik or Om stickers on walls, Rangoli designs, flower decorations, and a Toran (door decoration).
