Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas Quits TDP, Meets YSCRP's Jagan Mohan Reddy
TDP Lok Sabha MP Kesineni Srinivas officially submitted his resignation to TDP, effective immediately, in a letter addressed to party chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday.
TDP Lok Sabha MP Kesineni Srinivas, who resigned TDP, shared the news of submitting his Lok Sabha membership resignation to Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday. Later, Srinivas also posted photos with YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on his social media handles.
In a post on 'X', Srinivas said, "I have submitted my resignation to my membership of Lok Sabha Vijayawada (constituency) to the Speaker through email and requested him to accept my resignation with immediate effect."

After meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Srinivas stated that he would join the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) after TDP leadership accepted his resignation.
After meeting with Reddy, Srinivas said, "Had a productive courtesy call with Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy today. Discussed important matters concerning our state's progress and development. Grateful for his time and commitment to our shared vision for a better future."
He officially submitted his resignation to the TDP, effective immediately, in a letter addressed to party chief N Chandrababu Naidu, citing 'careful consideration and personal reflection.'
Indicating his inclination towards the ruling YSRCP, Srinivas informed the media that he intends to collaborate with Reddy and is willing to assume any responsibility entrusted to him by the Chief Minister, as per a report on PTI.
Last week, Kesineni Srinivas announced his decision to quit TDP in a Facebook post. He stated, "It is not right for me to continue in the party."
Further, he expressed his belief that the party no longer requires his services.
