Give Me One Chance To Defeat YSRCP, Says JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan

JSP leaders have alleged a large-scale land scam in Jagananna project, the foundation stone of which was laid by the chief minister on December 30, 2020.

JanaSena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Sunday appealed to people to give his party one chance to defeat the ruling YSR Congress Party in the 2024 assembly general elections. He visited the Jagananna housing colony at Gunkalam on the outskirts of Vizianagaram and interacted with beneficiaries of the colony, which is named after Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

JSP leaders alleged a large-scale land scam in Jagananna project, the foundation stone of which was laid by the chief minister on December 30, 2020. They say that the government purchased lands from ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders at exorbitant prices in the guise of construction of Jagananna mega project.

A total of 12,477 houses are planned to be constructed on over 397 acres. It will also have civic infrastructures like schools, hospitals, community halls and markets.

On Friday, the actor-politician Pawan Kalyan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam city. Pawan Kalyan stated that he had discussed a list of issues, including the state's current political predicament with PM Modi.

On Monday, Pawan Kalyan on Twitter thanked PM Modi and said, "I met Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji again after eight years. Hearty thanks to PM Modi ji for giving your valuable time to explain the situation and problems of Andhra Pradesh State. Thanks to the Prime Minister's Office for coordinating this meeting."
