Andhra Pradesh: Truck Carrying Fish Overturns In Tadepalligudem, Four Killed
The accident occurred near NIT college in Tadepalligudem.
Hyderabad: Four persons were killed when a truck carrying fish overturned near Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district on Friday morning.
According to police, the accident took place when the fish carrying truck was on its way to Narayanapuram Unguturu zone of West Godavari district from Duvvada in Visakhapatnam district.
The 14-tier truck transporting fish lost control, allegedly due to the driver's negligence and overturned near NIT college in Tadepalligudem, an officer stated as quoted by news agency ANI. On receiving information from the locals, the police rushed to the accident spot and started the rescue operations.

A total of 14 people were travelling in the truck out of which four were killed on the spot while three others sustained severe injuries. The injured have been rushed to the nearby hospital in Tadepalligudem while seven others have been rescued by the police with the assistance of the locals.
The matter is being investigated, the police further said.
