Two students involved in school shooting in Alabama

Alabama [U.S.A.], Mar.08 (ANI): In another incident of a school shooting in the United States, two students were involved in a firefight at a high school in Birmingham, Alabama, on Wednesday, the city school district told the CNN.

Police were called to the scene as Huffman High School was briefly placed on a lockdown following shots fired at dismissal time, a statement by Birmingham City Schools said.

An investigation was launched into the matter by the police.

This follows a series of school shootings that the US has witnessed in recent months, with agitated protesters urging the nation's lawmakers to reconsider gun laws.(ANI)
