Union Minister VK Singh gives update on 3rd phase of Delhi-Meerut Expressway
General Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, MP is an Indian politician and a retired four star general in the Indian Army. Since May 30, 2019, he is serving as the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways in the Government of India. The first phase of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway cost Rs 842 crore on building the 9-km stretch of the 14-lane highway. The total cost of the project on completion would be Rs 7,500 crore.
Once the entire project is complete, it will take 60 minutes to travel from Delhi to Meerut.
