Pakistan is set to vote on Thursday to elect a new government to rule the country amid a spree of violence, including deadly blasts on the eve of the general elections. The cash-strapped country is grappling with an economic crisis and political uncertainty following the ouster of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2022.
