West Bengal News: BJP's Gaurav Bhatia slams CM Mamata Banerjee over thrashing of a couple | ABP News
Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Monday slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led government over a "horrific" video where a man brutally assaulted a couple in public. Gaurav Bhatia alleged that women were "unsafe in didi's West Bengal" and added that the Trinamool Congress cadre and MLAs were justifying the act.
In the video, the man was seen beating up a couple with a bamboo stick following a kangaroo court decision. The man was allegedly a local TMC leader of Chopra in West Bengal's Uttar Dinajpur district. A horrific video has come to light from West Bengal, reminding of the brutalities that exist only in theocracies. To make matters worse, the TMC cadre and MLAs are justifying the act.
