Tourism Minister Gajendra Shekhawat enjoys skydiving in Haryana, sets adventure goals

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat celebrated World Skydiving Day on July 13 by partaking in a skydiving session himself. Addressing mediapersons after the exhilarating experience, he emphasized the significance of the day for both India and the global community. “Today holds great importance for India and the world,” Shekhawat remarked. “For India, it is a landmark moment as we inaugurate our very first private skydiving facility in Narnaul. This not only enhances our tourism infrastructure but also marks a new chapter in adventure sports in the country. For the world, today signifies the commencement of World Skydiving Day, a celebration of this thrilling sport across the globe. As India’s Tourism Minister, I am committed to ensuring that such facilities are available for everyone to experience, promoting tourism and adventure sports in our country.” His participation and remarks highlight the government's dedication to advancing tourism and providing diverse recreational opportunities for both domestic and international tourists.
