The weather department has forecasted that the rainfall will continue throughout the day in Delhi NCR, with the possibility of further precipitation. The ongoing rain is expected to persist for the next few days in Delhi NCR, with continued showers anticipated. In addition, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and some districts in Madhya Pradesh are also likely to experience heavy rainfall. This weather pattern has led to cooler temperatures due to the persistent rain. In Rajasthan, several districts have been significantly impacted by continuous rainfall, causing waterlogging and disruptions. The weather department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reports that a 'depression' over Madhya Pradesh has moved towards southwestern Uttar Pradesh, influencing the weather in Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall is expected in northeastern Rajasthan today. Overall, the monsoon conditions are creating challenges in terms of infrastructure and daily life, with various regions under alert for severe weather conditions.
