In response to the Kolkata rape case, students have intensified their protests, with Rabindra Bharati University students blocking BT Road this morning. The students allege that a civic volunteer, in an intoxicated state, rode his bike into their demonstration. A video provided by the students shows a police officer intervening, trying to create a way for the civic volunteer to leave the scene. Following the uproar, an FIR was filed against the civic volunteer, who is stationed at the Sindhi police station, leading to his arrest.
