Holika Dahan Puja Vidhi

• On the day of Holika Dahan, wake up early and take a bath. After taking a vow to observe the fast, prepare for the ritual. Clean the place where Holika Dahan is to be performed.
• Make idols of Holika and Prahlad and worship Lord Narasimha. Perform Holika Puja during the auspicious muhurat and offer coconut, turmeric, vermillion, rice, and wheat into the sacred fire.
• After this, circumambulate Holika three times with your family. Then, offer gulal and water into the sacred fire as a mark of devotion.
• After the Holika fire cools down, apply its ashes as a tilak. You can take some ashes home and wrap them in a red cloth to keep in the safe, as per Vastu beliefs, to attract wealth. Have your meal only after Holika Dahan.
