Aanvi Kamdar, a 26-year-old Instagram travel influencer from Mumbai, tragically died after falling into a gorge at Kumbhe waterfall near Maharashtra's Raigad while filming a reel. Aanvi was on a trip with seven friends when she slipped into a deep crevice during the video shoot. Despite a six-hour rescue operation, she was brought out from the gorge but succumbed to severe injuries at the hospital. A chartered accountant by profession, Aanvi also worked at Deloitte, an IT/technology consulting company. She was well-known for her social media presence, where she shared her passion for travel and unique experiences with her 256,000 Instagram followers. Her account highlighted her interest in monsoon tourism and was described in her bio as a "travel detective," offering insights into luxury finds, cafes, itineraries, tips, and travel vibes.
