Discussion In Lok Sabha For 16 Hours On Motion Of Thanks, INDIA Alliance To Be Present | ABP News

ABP News: The opposition in the Lok Sabha wanted to debate the medical entrance exam NEET-UG paper leak issue on Friday (June 28), but amid the uproar, the Lok Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 11 am on Monday (July 1, 2024) . Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi released a video on social media platform X and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to debate. In the second week of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, debates and heated arguments can be seen between the NDA government and the opposition. The meeting of both the houses is going to resume today on Monday, July 1. In this, issues ranging from NEET paper leak controversy to Agneepath scheme and inflation can be discussed. According to the information, the debate on the motion of thanks on the President's address will be initiated by BJP MP Anurag Thakur, after which Bansuri Swaraj, who became MP from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat for the first time, will debate. At the same time, the Lok Sabha has allotted 16 hours for the debate on the motion of thanks, which will end with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reply on Tuesday. Whereas, 21 hours have been allotted for debate in the Rajya Sabha House and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to reply on Wednesday.
