COVID-19 cases in children rise during 3rd wave
As India entered the third wave of COVID-19, experts have raised concerns over its impact on children. Reports across the country claimed that children are more prone to COVID-19 in the ongoing wave of the Coronavirus. On December 22, 29 children were tested positive for Coronavirus in a school in West Bengal. Similarly, 18 children tested positive for the deadly virus on December 28 in Shekhpura, Bihar. On the same day, 36 children in Himachal Pradesh's school tested positive. 82 children tested positive for the virus in Uttarkhand on January 2, 2022.
