Ajit Pawar to be Maharashtra's Next CM? Posters Placed at Ganpati Pandal | Maharashtra News
Elections for the Maharashtra Assembly are expected to be held between November and December this year, and political parties are already gearing up for the contest. Within the Maha Yuti (Grand Alliance), there is ongoing contention regarding the Chief Ministerial candidacy. In Baramati, posters depicting Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar as a future Chief Minister have been displayed at the Akhil Bharatiya Tanulwadi Vesh Public Ganesh Mandal pandal. This is not the first time such posters have appeared; Ajit Pawar's supporters and activists have previously put up similar posters. Recently, internal discord within the Maha Yuti has been reported. In response, BJP National President JP Nadda has given significant advice to the Maharashtra BJP unit. He has emphasized the need to address the concerns of alliance partners to ensure unity and strength within the Maha Yuti for the upcoming elections. Nadda has advised the Maharashtra BJP to assume the role of a big brother in the alliance. On Saturday, JP Nadda visited Mumbai, where he paid a visit to the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh idol. He then visited Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's residence at Varsha and later performed Ganesh Chaturthi rituals at Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's Sagar residence in Malabar Hill. During his visit to Fadnavis's residence, Nadda also met with members of the state BJP core committee. He discussed election challenges and preparations, urging the Maha Yuti to work as a cohesive team to strengthen their position for the polls.
