Bihar Rains: Tension escalates for common man amid massive flood like situation in Bagmati River

Many cities have been flooded due to the natural calamity. Landslides are happening in the mountains (Uttarakhand Landslide), while the plains are in the grip of floods. Nearly half of India is currently facing the brunt of monsoon. The situation is bad due to rain and floods in many states including Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh Flood Alert), Bihar (Bihar Flood News), Maharashtra (Maharashtra Rain Alert), Assam. Due to continuous rain, the water level of the rivers has increased considerably. In many states, some rivers are flowing well above the danger mark. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of relief from rain for the next few days.
