Good and Bad news for Congress ahead of LS elections
Former Mumbai MP Priya Dutt on Wednesday revealed a change of heart by announcing that she will again enter the electoral arena. Two months ago the Congress leader had claimed that she will take a break from active politics but made a u-turn now explaining she intends to "save democracy" and wants to fight for the future of her children.
"I am in the race and will contest this (2019) elections. I am fighting for the future of my children. It's a fight to save democracy," Dutt told the media.
