Southern Rising Summit: '5 Trillion Economy Not Possible with Gujarat Alone,' CM Reddy Criticizes Center
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the ABP Southern Rising Summit 2024, accusing him of violating a “Gentleman’s Agreement” intended to balance relations between North and South India. He alleged that PM Modi has focused on breaking Opposition unity rather than addressing the nation’s needs. Reddy pointed out that many policies Modi claims to have introduced were, in fact, established by the Congress. Questioning Modi’s record, he said, “You’ve become Prime Minister for a third time, which benefits you and your party, but where is the change for the people?” He further accused the PM of leveraging divisive, emotive issues for electoral gains.
