After the voting on October 8 for the 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly, counting is currently underway. In a significant development, Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat achieved a remarkable victory from the Julana Assembly seat, defeating BJP's Yogesh Bairagi.
The vote counting for the Julana seat was conducted in 15 phases. According to the Election Commission, Vinesh Phogat trailed behind in the first six phases. However, from the seventh phase onwards, she surged ahead, ultimately securing her win. Vinesh received a total of 65,080 votes, while Yogesh Bairagi garnered 59,065 votes. Surendra Lathar from the Indian National Lok Dal finished third with 10,158 votes. Phogat's victory margin stands at 6,015 votes, marking a significant achievement for the Congress party in Haryana.
