Maharashtra Assembly Election Result 2024: In the trends so far in the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Mahayuti has got a huge majority. Most of the exit polls in Maharashtra were showing the formation of the NDA government, but were not in favor of such a big victory. On the other hand, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis also said that none of them expected such a big victory. The reason behind this victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra is said to be that one move of the Eknath Shinde government, which was announced before the elections.

The Shinde government in Maharashtra had announced the Ladli Behan Yojana before the elections. This proved to be a game changer. Earlier in Madhya Pradesh too, before the 2023 elections, the Shivraj government had announced the Ladli Behan Yojana. BJP got the benefit of this scheme in the elections and BJP won a record-breaking victory.
