Union Budget 2025: 'Government's WWE budget,' says market expert Supriya on Budget 2025 | ABP News

Budget 2025 Expectations LIVE: The Union Budget 2025, which will be the second full budget of the Modi 3.0 government, is expected to be presented in Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11 AM. This will mark her eighth consecutive Union Budget presentation, making her the first finance minister to achieve this milestone. Previously, this record was held by Morarji Desai who presented six consecutive budgets.

The agriculture sector is expected to be a major focus of Budget 2025, along with tax reforms. There is speculation that the old tax regime may be gradually phased out and that individuals earning less than ₹10 lakh annually could be exempted from income tax. However, there has been no official confirmation on this yet.

Let's take a look at what the public expects from the government and what options the government has in hand.
