BJP likely to announce candidates for UP today
The Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to announce the list of its Lok Sabha Candidates in the politically significant state of Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming parliamentary elections. In an arrangement similar to that of 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi, sources have revealed. Rajnath Singh will contest from Lucknow while Smriti Irani will challenge Rahul Gandhi again from Amethi.
