PM Narendra Modi & J&K leaders meet: What to expect? | Seedhe Field Se (24 June 2021)
The much-talked-about meeting between Jammu and Kashmir’s political parties and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi has created a political uproar in the country. As many as 14 prominent leaders from J&K attended the meeting. The all-party meet will be the first political engagement since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019 when the Centre had revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, if reports are to be believed PM Modi assured that he was committed to restoring statehood to the region.
