When Delhi SI befriended rape accused on FB to arrest him | Sansani (2 August 2021)

Delhi resident Akash Jain was arrested by the Delhi police on account of rape. The victim called the PCR team and informed them about the heinous crime. Post which Delhi Police lady officer laid a trap for the accused. A team led by sub-inspector Priyanka found Akash on Facebook and track down his whereabouts. The police used the Facebook profile of the woman officer to talk to the accused and befriend him when he shared his phone number.
