'Heart Of Gold': Delivery Executive Distributes Chocolates To Customers With Every Order On His Birthday

Birthdays are special for everyone and it is common for people to throw a party for their friends and relatives. But what if you don't have the time or have been unable to take an off from work? Karan Apte, a Zomato delivery executive was in a similar situation but he celebrated his special day in a unique way. The 30-year-old, in order to celebrate his birthday did two things. First, he got himself a new shirt and second, he distributed chocolates with every order he got for the day. 

Apte shared his plan of action with his friends on Facebook and the post immediately went viral as people were moved by his sweet gesture. Later, Zomato even threw a party for him.

“Today’s my birthday, I bought a new shirt and distributed chocolates with every order I delivered in Zomato,” read the post shared along with two pictures by Apte.  In one of the picture he can be seen in a changing room, wearing presumably his new shirt and another showed him distributing a chocolate attached to an order to a customer. 

One seeing the post, one Facebook user commented, "May god bless you with everything brother happy birthday to you."

"Zomato give this man a raise. He deserves it," wrote another user.

"Heart of gold , itne logo ne bhai ko Aaj Tak tip nahi Diya hoga ..... Jitna bhai ne chocolate pe kharcha kar diya," commented a third.

"Zomato "congratulations, you found your most faithful service man," wrote a fourth.

While another user on seeing the video wrote, "Zomato pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee promote him please salary is everything ZOMATO please don’t break out heart."
