Viral: Social media users shared videos of the destruction in various areas of Rajasthan as a result of the heavy rainfall. A close-up of a man standing near a wall that suddenly collapsed is depicted in one such video. The incident happened in the Paota locality of Jodhpur on Sunday, when the area was flooded by heavy rain.
A man can be seen standing a few meters from the wall when it abruptly collapses in the dramatic video, which has gone viral. As seen in the video, the man went outside to open his home's gate when a portion of it fell into a nearby piece of undeveloped land. Additionally, visible ground cracks that caused the collapse are captured in the video.
An Instagram account called @popkeeda shared the video and stated, "A house wall collapsed during Sunday's heavy rains in Jodhpur's Polo Second locality, raising concerns about construction safety in the region." CCTV footage of the startling event shows the wall abruptly collapsing while people were around. Thankfully, there haven't been any reported casualties yet. Before the monsoon gets worse, locals are pleading with authorities to examine any weakened structures.

A run-down two-story house in Kankaroli, Rajsamand, collapsed late Monday night, killing one person and seriously injuring another, according to a report in Bhaskar English.
According to the report, the incident happened while four people were inside the Dhora Mohalla residence. Two of them escaped safely, but the other two were buried beneath the rubble. The rescue was performed by locals, who also hurried the victims to the hospital. One of them passed away from her wounds, and the woman is still in critical condition.
